A historical journey of the pioneer Greek ship-owners and their families, reminiscing on their successes, their mistakes and business battles they often had to face and are still facing today, and their inspiration by “a modern Ulysses”, which enabled them to prevail and dominate at sea throughout the World.

The purpose of the series is to inform, educate, entertain and inspire the viewer, regarding current events on the planet through the prism of sustainability, and the interaction between its three supporting pillars: economy, society, and environment. The main axis of the program is the presentation, of the leading sustainable innovations of sustainable development. It aims to demonstrate, that everything in our world is interrelated, and to show the impact our lifestyle and everyday life have, on our local and global neighborhood, on our lives, but also on the lives of our children.
Sustainable development is that which meets the needs of current generations, without endangering the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
